This week we are proud to share our tennis enrichment class. The students are making great progress in tennis, and are able to line up in two lines and hit the tennis balls as they are being thrown at them, using the correct tennis form. When the students first started the tennis class, they were not able to hold the rackets in their proper form. Great job to both the tennis instructor and the students for their progress.
There will be no school November 21, 2016
through November 25, 2016

Youth workers are a big part of the Higher Ground organization. They provide peer to peer interaction, as well as support the tutors with their classes, making transitions and day to day tasks easier. We would like to recognize KaShawnna C. for being an excellent youth worker. KaShawnna is very efficient in her tasks and works extremely well with both students and staff.
Our student Athlete Alejandro Loud has been selected by Coach Jermaine as MVP for this football season.
