Parker Scholar’s after school program serves an average of 100 students for both elementary and Middle school. Parker Scholar’s after-school program offers both academic tutoring and enrichment activities for all students! Scholars After-school provides academic support through homework mentoring, skill building, and academic games. In addition to academics, Parker Scholar’s also has enrichment activities for its students, such as Karate, dance and drumming. Higher Ground Agency will provide our students with enrichment activities around the following four company initiatives; Service Learning, Health and Fitness, Visual and Performing Arts. Higher Ground also has sports programming and enrichments for students in collaboration with outside agencies such as the Oakland Parks and Recreation for football, AAU for basketball, First Tee for Golf, Boy Scouts of America, Prescott Circus And Kids Rock Club.

January 16th 2017 school will be closed for MLK Day.
MLK Day of Service being held on January 16th, 2017
at Madison Park School and Brookfield Elementary School we will be hosting a community cleanup, mural painting and tree planting project. All our after-school families are strongly encouraged to attend. We will have food and drinks. So come out come be of service. It was his dream. Now it’s our Dream.
We at Parker are pleased to welcome Coach Leo to our team! He’s coaching our youth in the tennis enrichment Mondays and Wednesdays.
We appreciate the youth workers at Parker. We want to give thanks and praise to Desirae Frisbee for all of her hard work with the 4th & 5th Graders.We also like to thank all the middle school youth who participated in the college day tour at UC Berkeley.
